The Reason Why

As we have started the adoption process, I have learned so much about how much God loves His children.

In a training class all adoptive parents have to take, we learned that the reason adoptions happen is for the child. We were asked the question in our training "Are we entitled to have children?" We came to the conclusion that just because we were able, didn't mean the same as being entitled. Our instructor said that while we are not entitled to children, children are entitled to have a mother and a father. WOW! I never thought of that before. I have always thought "I want to have more children" but now I realize so much more that it isn't about me, it is about the child.

I am so grateful for the knowledge that God loves each of us and knows each of us!
